Sources and method
Share the screen with ForeFlight
iPadOS does this, not the app. Set it once; the iPad usually remembers it.
Slide Over (floating narrow panel)
Open ForeFlight full screen.
Swipe up a little from the bottom edge to show the Dock.
Touch and hold the SherpaWare icon, drag it onto the screen, release when ForeFlight shifts.
Drag the thin bar at the top of the panel left or right to move it. Flick it off the edge to hide it; swipe in from that edge to bring it back.
Split View (side by side)
With ForeFlight open, tap the three dots at the top of the screen, then the Split View button.
Pick SherpaWare on the Home Screen.
Drag the black divider to about 70 / 30. Drag the divider to the edge to close one side.
Stage Manager (iPad with M-series chip)
Control Center, tap Stage Manager on.
Open both apps; drag the corner handle of the SherpaWare window to about a quarter of the screen and place it where you like.
In any of these the cockpit view simply fills SherpaWare's window. If Split View or Slide Over are missing, turn on Settings, Multitasking and Gestures.
